Did you know that in Canada the field of nutrition isn’t regulated?
This surprises a lot of people. The truth is, anyone, even someone who’s only completed a weekend course, can legally use the title “Nutritionist.”
That’s why it’s so important to understand the difference when you’re looking to work with a nutritionist.
What Does It Mean to Be a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™?
I’m proud to hold the title of Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ (R.H.N.™).
This title represents a year of study at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN), 300 hundred hours of class time and over 200 clinical hours, CSNN is one of the most respected schools for holistic nutrition in Canada.
As part of the CSNN Alumni Association, I:
Follow a clear Code of Ethics
Work within a professional Scope of Practice
Am accountable to a board that ensures I uphold the highest standards of care
This means you can feel confident knowing the advice I share is grounded in science, holistic practice, and professional standards. If you want to view the code of ethics or scope of practice, reach out! I am happy to share that with you.
A Bonus You Might Not Know About
If your insurance plan includes coverage for Nutritional Counselling or Nutritionists, you may be able to get some of your sessions covered!
As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™, I can provide receipts for reimbursement. (It’s always worth checking with your provider to see if you’re covered.)

I love helping women feel stronger, more energized, and more confident in their bodies. Here are a few ways we can work together right now:
✨ Group Fitness Classes (current schedule, please reach out directly to know the most up to date.)
Wednesdays & Fridays | 6:00am–7:00am at Bounce Back Physio, Elmvale
Tuesdays | 5:00pm above the Elmvale Arena
Classes are $15 + HST per class. You can reserve your spot or just drop in!
💪 Personal Training
Available Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays between 10am–2pm.
This is a great option if you’re looking for more personalized support with your fitness goals.
Metabolic Balance® Program
